Our Principals
James Adamson, PG
James is a licensed professional geologist, water resources professional, and co-founder of Water Technologies International. Mr. Adamson has an established 15-year career in the water sector and has focused on addressing regional and local water problems throughout the world. He has received several awards for professional contributions in the water-sector and currently serves on the board of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) in Illinois and Indiana.
Stuart Dykstra
Stuart is a hydrogeologist and water resources professional and co-founder of Water Technologies International. He has an established 35-year career working worldwide on multi-disciplinary water-related projects including groundwater development and protection; drinking and irrigation water supplies; wetlands; fluvial restoration; flood control; and mining reclamation. He has worked extensively on large scale hydrogeologic mapping and groundwater supply projects in Haiti, CAR, DR Congo, Kenya, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Peru. Stuart received the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Honor Award for Groundwater Development and was also awarded the Abandoned Mined Lands (AML) National Award for Excellence for a uranium mine reclamation.
Ben Dykstra
Benjamin works in web and technology development and interactive embedded systems. This includes the full technology stack of API design and front-end web development, database design, web services, server-side coding, and systems administration. His work also includes geographic information system (GIS) web applications allowing planners to view data and calculate parameters in watersheds. He has worked with the PostgreSQL/PostGIS spatial database on the server and the OpenLayers, Leaflet, Google Maps, and Bing Maps platforms using these to visualize environmental models and real-time data from remote sensors. He is fluent in a wide range of programming languages including C, C++, C#, assembly, Python, Clojure, PHP, and JavaScript.
Andy Ayers
Andy is responsible for sales, marketing, and operational execution at WTI LLC. Andy is a founder and owner of The Hammer Source (since 1999), a web-based manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of Hammers for industry, trades, and hobbyists. Andy manages all aspects of the business including operations, finance, marketing, and sales. Prior to that, he was involved in financial product sales and marketing.
