What is HydroMONITOR?

IMG_3095 The HydroMONITOR system acquires customer specified data, then transmits, processes, and presents that data in real-time to support informed decision-making. The HydroMONITOR system can be applied to collect data such as water levels in rivers and reservoirs, water quality, precipitation and climate data. It can also be applied to monitor water and wastewater infrastructure, such as pipelines, water tanks, wells and water treatment systems. The system can be customized with an infinite number of sensors to support the specific need of a customer. WTI exists to provide custom solutions tailored to our customers. Data is available in real-time through our satellite or cellular telemetry systems and the HydroALERT web-based software. Customers have access to a secure system where current and historical data can be visualized, analyzed and exported. The Alert feature allows for the customer to set custom alerts when incoming data achieves user-defined criteria. Alerts can be sent via e-mail, text message and/or phone call, feedback mechanisms can also verify alerts have been received and acknowledged.

HydroCAST

HydroCAST is the customizable predictive programming technology integrated into the WTI HydroMonitor. HydroCAST allows for forecasting capabilities to be integrated into the system. Forecasting requires often-complex statistical programming with integrated engineering and scientific algorithms. In many situations forecasting also takes advantage of proxy data sources to support forecasting and statistical prediction of conditions. HydroCAST for flood forecasting was developed in partnership with V3 Companies of Illinois, an internationally known civil engineering firm.
